We want to give our community more stability, flexibility, and control. Self-hosting means faster updates, fewer crashes, custom features, and the ability to grow the cluster without relying on Nitrado.
Yes. However, we cannot check every base manually. If you find something we missed, please tell us right away and our expanded team will work on making it right.
Yes. Our new hardware is more powerful, with high-core CPUs, large amounts of RAM, and fast NVMe storage. This should mean smoother gameplay, faster loading, and less lag during peak times.
The old Nitrado cluster will eventually be de-funded and turned off.
Yes. You’ll need to favorite the new server name, Phoenix Clan Rising, in the ASA server browser. We’ll post exact connection info in Discord.
The team is pleased with the transition so far, and any downtime from this point forward will be kept to an absolute minimum other than the usual cluster reboot at 8 AM PST / 11 AM EST.
The core rules stay the same, but self-hosting gives us more flexibility to add community-requested mods, balance changes, and events. We’ll test changes carefully before rolling them out.
Donations go directly toward hardware, networking, and upkeep of the new servers. Nothing changes for VIP or supporter packs—you’ll still get the same perks, just with more stability behind them.
All support requests should go through Discord tickets so we can track them. Staff will have better access to logs and server management tools under self-hosting, so fixes should be faster.
We’re moving the cluster onto dedicated hardware instead of rented servers.
AMD EPYC & Ryzen 9 CPUs, 128-256 GB RAM per server, and fast NVMe storage for smoother maps, mods, saves, and loading.
Servers linked with high-speed connections and redundant systems to help keep things online during maintenance.
Automatic save backups, better crash recovery tools, and direct admin access to fix problems faster.
We can add new maps, event servers, and community-requested features with less overhead and fewer limits.
If something looks wrong during the transition, please open a Discord ticket so our team can help.
